The Perfect Gift by Serenity Woods
(Three Wise Men, Book 1)
Synopsis:
As a single mum who can barely afford to put food on the table, let alone fill her son Ryan’s Christmas stocking with presents, Erin Bloom isn’t particularly looking forward to the festive season. When Ryan has an asthma attack and ends up in hospital, she’s convinced it’s going to be the worst Christmas ever. Sure, Christmas is a time for miracles, but everyone knows wishes don’t really come true.
Consultant pediatrician Brock King lost his wife to cancer two years ago, and he’s convinced the love he felt for her only comes around once in a lifetime. Then, while visiting the children’s ward, he meets single mum Erin, and suddenly his future doesn’t seem so bleak.
Once Ryan recovers, Brock offers to take Erin away for her birthday, no strings attached, to give her the perfect gift every single mum would kill for—a night in an exclusive hotel. Will she take him up on his offer, which might (if she’s very lucky) end up with hot sex with a gorgeous billionaire? Or should she take the moral high ground and say no?

My Review: 4 out of 5
This is the first book of a series of three, each book is about a brother. This story can be read alone, but there is not a full conclusion at the end of book 1, there is no epilogue, but you could quite happily end there as it doesn't end in a cliff hanger as such, but the characters from each book are interwoven and the author does advise of a conclusion for all three brothers at the end of book 3.
I loved this story, it is a well written romance story based at Christmas time in New Zealand, so it is a summer Christmas, no snow or fireplaces in sight. I thought the author was descriptive of the surroundings without being a travel guide.
I liked both Brock and Erin, he is just such a wonderful Alpha Billionaire Male and was deserving of finding his new love. Erin is a single mum with a bad track record of having her heart broken, so she had the issues to work through if she is good enough for the sexy billionaire.
The story flowed really nicely and the chemistry between Brock and Erin is good, there is a little bit of drama, nothing heavy, and some good sexing to spice it up.
Overall a lovely, easy to read romance.
Would I read the next in the series or another story by this Author?
Yes, I would definitely read other books in the series by this author.
Would I recommend someone else to read this story?
Yes, it was a lovely Billionaire romance, worth the read.
