She sacrificed her heart for his life. He lived without living. Now they had the chance to mend their broken hearts together...but would Tessa and Jake have the courage to do it?
My Review: 4 out of 5
This is the first book I have read for this author, and even though this is Book 8 of the series, you can certainly read it as a stand alone, and you don't need to have read the others first.I did enjoy this book, it is a nice reunited first love story. It is set at Christmas time but it is not a Christmas story as such.
The story is told with both Jake and Tessa's point of view, so we get a good insight into each character. The chemistry and sexual tension between them is still sizzling but there is drama and angst and they both have issues that need to be worked through.
Would I read the next in the series or another story by this Author?
Yes, I would read other books in the series by this author.
Would I recommend someone else to read this story?
Yes, if you are looking for a reunited first love romantic drama, this is a good choice.
